Blaze is an Amsterdam-based fashion brand. Our aspiration is to inspire women to embrace their individuality. The core of our company is to give vintage items a new life, whilst at the same time spicing it up with some unique tailoring and adding some contemporary touches to timeless shapes.
Lucca founded her brand in 2019 with a clear vision.
“Today’s mass market fashion leaves hardly any room for being and feeling unique. If you like something you buy it, even though there are millions of other people wearing it. I think this is a shame. Why not be unique with a beautiful redesign of a vintage item? By combining this with simple needs you create a completely new cool look, that balances the new whilst respecting the classic. With Blaze I would love to build a community of girls with a fusion between the dualities of sexy and boyish, elegance and toughness, being super dope, whilst feeling hot. Whoever said you can’t have it all is probably a bore. In this community our own tribe will be represented by independent, tough, powerful and sexy women. Some pieces from Blaze are for everyone, but some pieces makes you the only one.”
Our vintage items are designed in our Atelier in Amsterdam with production taking place in different places in the Netherlands. The goal is to be 100% fair trade and local. We achieve this goal by using products that would otherwise no longer be used and by working with people in our own country.
